Denim Shorts for Women

I've been searching forever and I cannot find a pair that actually fits right , every time I find a cute pair the waist gaps or the thighs are too tight or they're so short I'd get arrested lol.
Does anyone have genuine recs for denim shorts that are flattering, don't fray after 2 washes and come in a decent inseam length?

Bonus points if they're not $150 because I refuse to pay that for shorts.

What are you guys actually wearing this summer??

What brand is a good Lululemon alternative?

Lululemon has gotten way too expensive for me lately, and I keep hearing there are other activewear brands out there that offer similar quality for way less money. At this point I really just want honest recommendations from people who actually wear this stuff regularly.

I train about 4 times a week, mostly strength training and some cardio, so material quality really matters to me. I need leggings and workout clothes that hold up after tons of washes, don’t go see-through, stay in place during workouts, and still feel comfortable enough to wear for hours.

I’m not necessarily looking for the absolute cheapest option. I just want brands that genuinely feel worth the money and don’t fall apart after a few months. Bonus points if they have that soft, stretchy Lululemon feel without the insane prices.
