display in quest 3 freezes after 15-30 minutes of gameplay (iracing)
I use my quest 3 exclusively for iracing, a popular sim racing game. I use Meta Horizon link with a 3rd party link cable connected to my PC.
Some PC specs:
-i5 10600 CPU
-5080 super GPU
-32 GB ram
For the first 15-30 minutes the set up works flawlessly. Occasionally ill get the odd split second black screen in the head set, but its so fast that it doesn't hinder my gameplay. My frame rate always stays at 72FPS. After 15-30 minutes the display will freeze and the borders of the display will heavily distort (looks like the edges are melting for lack of a better description).
While the display in the headset freezes, the display monitor does not freeze. Head movement causes the expected result on the PC monitor so the head set remains connected via the link cable.
However, the horizon link software indicates that the link cable is NOT connected. In fact, i cant re-establish a link unless i reboot my computer.
Any idea of what the issue could be and how to fix it?
