Hello. Im looking to enlist in Texas National Guard however my recruiter informed me being treated for ADHD in the past two years is considered a disqualifying factor and theres nothing I can do about it. He stated MEPS would pull my info and DQ me at the gate. I cant give up this easily. Ive been looking online and found some documentation regarding MARP and DoDI 6130.03 Change 6 and getting a medical waiver and I dont know if this can be used to help my case.

Can anybody help shed some light on this? Do I really have to wait 2 years?
