Im painting my War Spiders and I wanted them to be camouflaged as they teleport into battle from the warp, so I picked a purple/black paint scheme.

However I think maybe it's too much of the same colour and perhaps they need more contrast of some kind. Opinions?

I've also only just got back into painting so any advice/mistakes you see please feel free to point out :)
