i (finally) received my updated birth certificates!!

well i received it last week actually, but i wish i could’ve gotten it earlier ;-;

i even included all the stuff for an urgent request but i guess it wasn’t good enough info…

i told them about how i wanted it urgent due to graduation and i wanted it earlier so i could have time to change it, and i included a printed version of my schools calendar to show when graduation is, as well as an email from my school to show the deadline of when any personal info could be changed before it’s too late, but um… yeah guess it wasn’t good enough..

didn’t matter though! cause i found out i could just change my name legally on my schools website without needing any extra proof, so that’s fun!

kay context aside, here’s my timeline!:

jan 13 - service ontario received my documents as told by my tracking number

during this time i called a few times and haven’t received any updates until my card finally got charged, only thing i got was just the statement in my bank

april 28th - card gets charged!!!

may 7th - received both the updated birth certificate and the “change of name” form!!

regardless i’m happy as fucckkkkk to finally be legally ME!! all that’s really left is to change other stuff like my id and passport, but i guess this kinda marks the end of my transition now…. YAAAYY💗💗😙‼️
