So I FINALLY got my hands on the game and have absolutely loved it so far. My one thought that's absolutely plagued me the past several hours is... Did you guys play the old versions of the game??

The biggest complaint I keep seeing about this game is "Oh there's nothing to do" "They need to add more to the game" "I'm bored I hope they add more!" and don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I can't help but disagree. In fact, I am a little OVERWHELMED with how much there is to do, and it's been such a blast! I've redone my island a few times, spent hours making my miis perfect, laughing about how silly the custom items I've made are, added island lingo that the old game would have NEVER allowed, and honestly I haven't even gotten super in depth yet on some of the features they have to offer because it's so much. And if THIS isn't enough for some of you... How did you guys play the original version??

I picked up my DS earlier to compare and I was shocked at how little there was to do after about half an hour of playing with nearly 100 miis. I have played non stop for hours on my switch and don't see myself getting bored any time soon. Maybe it's because I'm autistic and repetitive gameplay is my jam-- I love the mini games and haven't gotten bored of the same ones yet (and I never did with the OG game either)-- but it seems to me like some people need to realize that this is the game we've waited so long for and appreciate it as is! Definitely worth the wait and absolutely my new favorite game hands down.

I’m so devastated. I spent FOREVER trying to get these two chuckleheads together just for them to break up the VERY NEXT DAY??? 😩😩😩😭

Why can I tell them not to be with someone if they pick the wrong Mii during a love confession but I can’t tell them to stay together!? 😭😭😭
