The old red badges were faded from sun and I wanted black so replaced the plastic stock red/chrome with new slightly smaller metal black/chrome and looks great on white.
It’s a small change but fun to do and took me maybe a half hour.
Put the old badge side by side in last pic for size comparison.
Just finished picking it up at the shop after getting some customization done this morning and pretty happy with it. I’ve always liked the stock rims on the mk6.5 but wanted black so decided to get them painted gloss black. It’s about 1/4 of the cost of new rims. Trying to go with a black/white theme.
So new changes, 35% tint on rear and 50% up front, nothing on windshield. Got the brake calipers re-painted white from red, headlights and taillights subtle light smoke 50% tint, and rims painted.
Next up, I have black out front/rear VW emblems from DSG paddles coming to replace the chrome ones, and side black/chrome fender badge coming to replace the red/chrome.
Not so distant future plan, get red line on grill painted or wrapped white and same thing with red line in headlights.

When I go to the “My Friends” tab it shows me each day when I earn bonus calories sync’d from my Apple Watch activity and I assume that it’s spamming that to my friends feed also.
Is there anyway to remove this announcement from the My Friends feed? I went through preferences and couldn’t see an option but I might be missing it.

I had my pressure a little high from 10-12 and at 11.5 it was blowing out my mouth so lowered it to 9-11 and it’s much better now.
From what I can see last 30 days it seems like I’m winning.
Can anyone see any suggestions or have feedback on anything I might be missing?
