Video of my GLI vs boosted vr6 Corrado
We both had bad launch and from the size of his front mount intercooler I thought I was gonna get left behind

Had gift cards for Autozone and they didn't have much of a selection for 0W-20 oils , is this Liquid Moly fine to use even tho it's not good enough for VW's approval.
On the APR website, I saw an ad offering a $250 rebate on APR equipment if you purchase a tune at a shop (https://www.goapr.com/why\_apr\_dealers/). Is there any downside to doing this vs. an at-home tune with ultralink? There happens to be an APR authorized shop just a couple miles from my house, so it wouldn't be inconvenient.
I have a 2024 Autobahn with about 40k miles and no real mods done (just an intake lol), and I plan on lowering it in the next few weeks. I would use the $250 for a rear sway bar and dogbone insert.
Just curious if anyone has seat covers that work with the heated and cooled seats or if there is such a thing?
These seem to be growing in popularity lately. Thoughts on doing one?
I bought the car used (obviously) with about 34K miles on it. Was the lowest mileage 35th anniversary GLI I could find in my area.
I did some research on euro mechanics near my home. The car was just serviced (all by the dealership) but I’d like to take it to an independent mechanic near me just to get it all checked out and make sure she’s 100% serviced.
What should I have my euro shop check out for me? Anything specific?
I had some people message me and say the water left on my car in my last post annoyed them, so here is a nice shiny, dry, and clean set of pics for you guys.
Also, taking this girl in for her first service tomorrow.
Anything I should get them to check or ask them to do?
Hey i had a quick question for you guys, on the “sport screen” that shows psi for MK 7+ what does it say for PSI when idling. I’ve could’ve sworn it usually sits around 17 PSI. I know the gauge built is typically off and over estimates but I have feeling I have a boost leak or something.
Hi everyone! I’m probably being dumb, but I’ve been trying to figure this out for two days. I would like to customize the individual info fields in my 26 GLI. So for example, where it has the trip mileage, I’d rather get the odometer. Instead of the compass, I’d prefer the remaining fuel range. Is this possible to do?
All my tires are at 40-41 psi and my light persists to stay on what do I do?
I just got a 2026 Jetta GLI and these lights came on the dash when I left the grocery store. It only has 600 miles on it so this is a little concerning. Anyone else had this issue?
Anyone have an idea which one my 2026 manual would have? It’s pouring rain for a few days and I don’t have a jack to check currently so thanks if someone has an answer
My only regret is forgetting that License plates can come off the car for pictures lol.
I picked up a new old stock '25 GLI DSG from a local dealer for way less than I should have got it for, and spent everything I saved on a few updates.
For the exterior I debadged the doors and vinyl wrapped the red stripe on the front, and got 25% tint for the rear windows. I also got my local guy to do ceramic coat.
I also immediately swapped to Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus based on recommendations here, and that was a solid improvement.
First day out, I had someone almost turn left into me, so I also installed a nice little dashcam using the power for the rain sensor like I also saw in a thread here. Thanks to the community for so many resources here in /JettaGLI!
I had to take my car back in a month after I got it to replace a rear taillight the dealership had damaged, and ended up in the garage bay with my '21 Golf TSI I had traded in. So I grabbed a picture of my new & old rides together.
Considering doing the intake now just for more turbo noises, and might go do the Stage 1, exhaust, and stance down when I get closer to the end of my warranty.
It's a great daily as it sits, and I am really happy with my upgrade!
I recently purchased shopdap.com custom gear knob. Took some time to arrive but I think worth it. It doesn’t go all the way down on the rod so I might trim it later on. So far happy.
Hey guys! Just lowered my 2024 GLI Autobahn and going to drive a bit more before getting an alignment and the dcc recalibration. What should I do next?
Hey guys just bought this brand new 26 GLI (3 pedals) :) I am wondering how often should I change the oil? I know recommend is 10k miles but what do you guys do? I’m thinking of doing one at 1500 after the break in period and then every 3k after that. Is that too conservative? Lmk!!
