Anyone got fuse box diagram for 07 gli?

Need help finding fuse box diagrams for an 07 gli, keep finding random other diagrams. Fsi motor, 6 spd manual, has hid headlights, factory fogs, sunroof, amp under driver seat (not sure if that’s an option or they all have that in this year). Folks say it’s in the owners manual, but I did not get the manual when I got car, grabbed one when I found a stereo out at the salvage yard for a golf cuz it has security code written in there. Can’t find it on Ross tech forum, and can’t find same one in VW vortex. Got a bad parasitic draw, and it’s hard to figure out other electrical issues when idk what fuses even do what. Online keeps giving wrong info with completely different fuse boxes, or base 2.5 with different options. Any help appreciated!

It’s the little details that folks aside from you will never notice.

Started the day out at the salvage yard at 8am, got me a replacement factory amp for my mk5 after I finally vacuumed out 12-15 gallons of water from the carpets and padding (only took like 5 days to feel good with shop vac and high power fan), then proceeded to spend 6 hours polishing the bumper trims with plastic restorer. Nobody but me will ever know. But these are the reasons why I always throw a thumbs up to a clean car with some age on it when I drive by. It separates the car guys from regular folks in a way. lol

Anybody know the layout for a10 pin light switch on an mk5?

Needing the pin readout for a 10 pin mk5 light selector, having some funny issues, and I know most of the lights work, but after checking continuity I am not getting a beep no matter what pins I’m touching. That would lead me to believe it’s bad, but I know at this point everything except the driver low beam is working, but only in certain positions on the switch.

So it’s probably a given, but don’t buy parts off carparts.com

Had to get new hid headlight housings for my mk5. Found a set for $520 on carparts, can’t really afford $800 a side elsewhere. They pulled the $520, then pulled an extra $260 the next day after parts were already shipped. Customer service was rude, and even management claimed it was my bank stealing my money though they also sent me signed documents so my bank could release the hold carparts had on my money. Was a joke. Got my parts and money back eventually. Out the box lights had a pinched wire, intervals were dirtier than ones in the car since 2006, and were designed so poorly that the retainers for the low beams will only work when no bulb is installed. If you add a bulb the dimensions are not correct to allow the retainer to go on. When your bulbs are $80-100 a pair, and $150 igniters also go in the housing I would strongly recommend you stay away from carparts, they are a scam, it’s cheap junk for quality parts prices.

Led plug and play hid replacement bulbs?

Looking for an option for direct replacement led bulbs, the precision d3s bulbs I ordered are on back order, can’t wait that long as I need to move soon. Looking for something that works well with the factory hid housing/ wiring. The car came with hid, so I can’t do the cheap housings with easy led options. The ones I was after seemed to be just plug them in, and worked with 35w factory ballast. Not really wanting extra wiring to cram in housing, or wire outside housing. If anyone has used any good led replacements let me know. Thanks!

That awful feeling when you open the door and step into a puddle…

Bad thing is last time I spent time with her I vacuumed super good, cleaned all the plastic, cleaned glass. Spent like 5 hours cleaning it up. Didnt touch for a month till I noticed heavy condensation inside windows as I was leaving for work in the daily. Still not sure where water came in, so it’s getting a car cover till I move in a few weeks, then she gets to live in the shop from there out.

Ark overloading 9800x3d, making fans go nuts, and crazy rotational clicking sound. Any ideas?

Recently got a new pc, finally got all my games installed, and ark is really working my pcu, more than any game so far, scared me, made me think my rig was gonna melt down. All other games are fine, with ultra and extreme settings, but can’t even get past intro scene before it makes my pcu get very loud and fast clicking sound like a fan blade is hitting something.

Pc is a 9800x3d pcu, 5070ti gpu, x870 mobo, 32gb ddr5 ram, 2tb ssd, plying an a 4k 144hz monitor. I’m running Forza horizon 6 with ray tracing and almost maxed settings fine, battlefield 6 played on almost max settings fine. It’s not even a gpu thing I don’t think, cuz pcu usage hits 100% and stays, and it sounds like rig is gonna blast off, not a single issue like this with any other game so far. I’m scared to let it run long enough to make it to settings, but if anyone knows how to help I can edit ark settings in nvidia app or local files, just don’t know where to start.

Noticed my shift boot was work and split, thought would be fun to hand stitch one, then realized I knew nothing about sewing or leatherwork. Bought some materials/ tools, watched some videos, figured it out. Now just gotta get my resin shift knob made, then can install it all. May post update then. I know it’s a silly project, not very fancy, but I’m proud as I learned two ways to stitch leather, and made my own pattern that was a fuzz taller and more slouchy than factory boot. Got me curious if I can address door panel inserts and maybe headliner next. lol

Decided to refresh my shift boot on my car, thought it may be fun to hand stitch, but knew nothing about sewing, or leatherwork. Got some tools, watched some videos, figured it out (good enough for my first attempt I would say). Was a very fun time, it’s not perfect, and it’s very simple, but I’m proud. Fits all the trim well, but can’t fully install till I get my resin shift knob complete.

I had a unique experience with this project, that will probably make leatherwork a new hobby to me. My grandmother has been past for almost 20 years, about 10 minutes into stitching this piece I had memories of sitting in the room while my grandmother would sew at her machine, she would give me little scrap pieces of cloth so I could sew pillows for my younger sisters stuffed animals. I had forgotten about these memories. There was a solid 5 minutes during the stitching that in my head I was just seeing with Nanny. It was very calming, and a lovely experience. I think I’m hooked!
