I have 2-19s and 2-43 slides that I've put on 43X frames and am very happy with. With both putting out 15 rounds does the 19 have any real edge over the 43X besides being able to accept a 33rd Glock 18 mag?
I've been considering adding a Glock 43X to my carry rotation and need advice on an optic. I pocket carry a Glock 43 most days and like the 43X pistols I've handled. This would be my first pistol optic and the COA I've handled had a nice red dot (even with my astigmatism) and they're readily available most everywhere. If I went the RMRcc route I would need to mill the slide on a regular 43X or buy an optic plate (which I've heard mixed reviews on) but would still consider it. Any suggestions?
