Glock I've slowly built over the years. This is the only bling / wtf firearm, I have in my arsenal. Why you might ask? Im still wondering myself but always have a blast shooting it.

-24k gold slide with reduced plunger spring

-Night fission suppressor height sights

-Kkm barrel paired with huxwrx .45 suppressor

-TLR sub light

-Fake Gold Cross Armory components to include trigger, extended mag release, magwell flare, and mag butt plate on a 22 rounder. ( I normally use 12rnd mags )

Bear with me because it's my first time trying to post images.

I added a light to my EDC and wanted to answer some of the questions I had when researching for the next person hyperfixating.

For context I am 5'8" 175 lbs athletic build and I usually carry a G19.4 at 12:30 with a Tenicor Certum 3 with the pillow and several different belts. I use a Certum Lux 4 Multi Light now.The light I added was a TLR-7 HLX. Here were my questions:

1.) Does it stick out too far and become uncomfortable when sitting?

I wore the gun in the Certum Lux 4 without a light for about a week. I actually found it more comfortable than the Certum 3 because it was wider and flatter which was neat because the Certum 3 was already really comfortable. I have not been able to tell a difference in comfort at all with the addition of the light. The few pictures I found of holstered TLR-7 HLXs were taken from a front angle and over-emphasized how far it sticks out. It goes about 1/8" past the end of the holster and if I didn't know I had added the light I would be unable to tell. I can sit on a curb without raising my belt beforehand and experience no discomfort. Even if I did feel it the holster is so adjustable that I don't think I would have any problem fixing it. There is no difference in concealment for me.

2.) Is the light too bright indoors at night with white walls?

No, I didn't find it too bright at all. It seems perfect with the SLB9 battery. If I stand in the pitch black arms length away from the wall and stare directly into the hotspot it can take about 1/2 seconds to find the dot after I activate it. Back up irons are obviously visible immediately. If I shine it into the mirror to get the other perspective I involuntarily shut my eyes and have to force them open. If you switch to a CR123A battery you get an advertised 550 lumens instead of 1100 and 11000 candela instead of 23000.

3.) Are the controls easy to reach with medium-size hands?

When I draw my index finger lands on the top of the low switch perfectly. I have to very slightly adjust my grip if I want to use my thumb on my support hand for momentary on function (just hold the switch down for more than 1/4 second). I love the controls. I have not tried the high switch.

4.) Does it look cool?

Yeah. Yeah it does. At least 8% cooler than no light plus you can see.

Disclaimer is that I have never used any other pistol light so I don't know if the 7x is "good enough." But for $20-30 more and no discomfort I cannot think of a reason to get something else.

Side note I put in a Glock Performance Trigger with the NP3 Overwatch precision connector and I must have gotten something in my eye during installation because the first time I dry-fired it water started coming out of my eyes. Definitely not tears of joy.

I keep my p365 xmacro TacOps and Glock 19x in the same EDC drawer in my room, but the Glock just keeps calling to me.

Pretty much finished with the lower for now. Wanted to drop another update of discoveries for anyone chasing the full PB. Trying to catalogue the journey in these posts for anyone that wants to follow the same path.

Last post I mentioned using Rapco Paint to match certain parts of the frame including the color matching the mag release. Ended up working great for the RMR sealing plate (Pic 5) but not so much on polymer parts (Pic 4). I wasn’t surprised but even after two weeks of cure time, the paint flaked off. I was hopeful but should’ve expected that.

This led me to start researching other solutions and thats when I found The2ndTactical. Way down in the Google results, they sell almost every Glock OEM part, cerakoted in all the popular colors (FDE, ODG, Burnt Bronze, etc). Ended up grabbing a Gen4/5 Mag Release in FDE and it works great! (Pics 1-3). Cerakote held up through install and it feels legit. Im aware TangoDown makes one in Tan polymer but I prefer OEM so this was a nice development.

I also grabbed two OEM Slide Back Plates (one in FDE and one in Burnt Bronze) from them as well which is another harder part to find in tan colors. I will feature them in the next post concerning the upper when it comes back from Vigilante Machine.

I feel bad for y’all that are having issues with your OEM 15 round mags, put a couple hundred rounds through mine (in total) and not a single issue, worked as expected.

I picked up a G45/6 COA (pictured) about a month ago and really love how this shoots.

I just purchased the G19/6 ORS as I can’t find a COA here locally. Not a fan of Gunbroker, got burned once, partly my fault,, for another day.

If I am considering this for some edc, which optic can work well as edc and range.. Have the Vortex Defender CCW on another firearm and like it a lot. Seems to have bigger window than my EPS Carry which I am ok with. How much bigger is the Vortex Defender SL? Or the regular size EPS. Don’t want a huge footprint, but do want enclosed with as clear glass as possible without the Trijicon prices..

While back i detailed my experience with Glockstore and purchasing one of these Hunters. A bit more confirmation work done on the barrel with a quick turnaround has resulted in this now unthreaded barrel being dependable. I’ve also taken the stock trigger out for the time being, using a glock performance trigger instead and adding on one of Tam’s trigger shoes. Eventually i’ll get an optic back on but for now i can run this dependably on the irons.

The current price of $1,599 may seem high but consider that you’ll be one of a very few to own one. On that note, should i be shooting the shit out of it?

Ran a box of Federal HST through my gun since I’m going to carry that then a couple hundred of Winchester just playing around on steel and targets. Hate that ammo but I needed to get rid of it, insanely dirty. Have a ton of blazer but was tired of looking at the white box
