Tempur Hybrid bed-in-box too soft - just change the mattress?
I bought a bed-in-box from Tempur with a "Hybrid" mattress from Tempur in Europe.
So the naming scheme is different but basically:
- Quite firm bed-foundation with "basic" box-spring
- Tempur Hybrid with coils, memory and comfort foam (27cm)
The mattress is even too soft for my GF which weighs around 67kg (147pounds). I weigh around 100kg / 220pounds.
Issue is, we both get pain in lower back, as we're "hanging" in the mattress.
The Tempur was everything but cheap so i hesitate since a year to replace it.
I also have a hard time finding a good mattress because i have broad shoulders. As i stayed 70 nights last year in hotels, i know that just walking in a store and get another mattress won't do it. Some people are very lucky with that strategy but i'm afraid of it.
So i thought to keep the bed from Tempur itself, as it is just a basic box-spring foundation with the backrest and put on a mattress with a 100day return-policy.
Any help really appreciated - especially recommendations for brands in Europe.
