Any advice on what more could be done?

I noticed a bump on my dogs rear right leg late last week. I thought it was a bug bite but it kept growing so I scheduled a vet appointment today to get it checked out. My dad took her since I had to work and they ran a in house test to show it wasn’t benign. They sent out a sample to a lab to see how bad it is. They ran a cytology today. The removal surgery is scheduled for Friday. Any advice would be appreciated I’ve never dealt with anything like this before thankfully we have insurance.

My French bulldog gelato turned 4 less than a week ago and is intact. We’re in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been wary of putting her under just for a spay but I’m going to get her spayed with this surgery.
