Same item sold twice (I had 2 of them) for the same price but payment fee is different??

i just find this super weird. same exact items, same price paid, different sales tax, 1 cent difference in what i will receive. but what made the total different? explain like i’m 5. i don’t care for the penny, just wanting to understand why?? lol
