2nd time Surrogate
Wondering if anyone else has possibly had a similar experience.
I had a surro babe December 2025 to the absolute BEST IP’s, They truly were involved with a respect of space and They also had an little one. When they came for the arrival of their child, We went to dinner the night they arrived and breakfast the morning of induction. After birth they allowed us to visit twice before leaving hospital (once by myself and second visit for my family). In the 6 weeks they were here, We had diner a few times and after school on friday’s we would go over! It was trulyp amazing. We are still in communication with monthly updates.
I am currently in the process of my second journey (Early stages) We are still in the legal stage… This is very different which i know every journey is it own. But IP’s went from asking to start communication After medical screening then once legal was sign and now they said only want updates on medical appointments. We must go through agency for positive pregnancy test and will be sending a Nanny to pick up the baby at birth. It just feels so cold.
I want them to trust me as I feel if I decide to end match it’s going to be worse for the next GC’s, and I have already committed to them and want to build trust hoping as the pregnancy progresses the IP’s start to feel differently.
Has anyone has a similar situation? Did you feel right about the match from the beginning? Was hand off easy or hard?
Edit 1: IM was pregnant herself over 1.5 years ago unfortunately they lost their child and she lost her uterus as well. Part of me feels she is jealous about carrying her baby and coming to face with it and part of me feels like this might cause depression on her end.
