Hexagons - Enmore, Sydney Australia
Thought I’d put together a single post about the latest Hexagon drop.
Yes, the location is real, I recognised it immediately as Enmore in Sydney. Yes, there is a theatre there around the corner (last pic - 113, Enmore Rd) which does hold live gigs, however I’d be concerned about a band as large as Muse playing in there as even though it’s a decent theatre, it’s fairly old and a year or two ago the floor broke during a Genesis Owusu show from the mosh pit.
Not saying it can’t happen there, just would expect with a new album and a new tour, something larger and more ‘stable’ would be more appropriate. Especially as the last time they came out here they played to a full stadium.
The other thing that is interesting is that the exact location they are indicating is not the actual old hotel building (4th pic) as some people may have noticed, but the wall of the medical centre across the street (3rd pic). This wall is well known for putting band tour posters on, which made me think that it’s a red herring. Maybe they’re teasing that they are coming to Australia but are teasing it more with a ‘watch this space’ - as in the wall for an upcoming gig poster.
Anyway, that’s just my thoughts, but I’m super-pumped for them to make an appearance out here anywhere!
