Is it worth it to buy the condo I'm renting?
For context, the unit I'm renting belongs to a family friend. And they barely use this condo that's why they're renting it out.
A few months back there were talks na gusto nalang ipa-bili samin yung condo na to. We're currently renting 18k per month. If we buy it, it will be 33k for 15 years. No increases, basta 33k per month, for 15 years. Yung rent namin na 1 year, it will serve as the "down payment" nalang.
About the unit:
- Low floor
- 1 bedroom (36sqm)
- Prime location
- Unit is 10 years old
- With 1 parking slot
About the occupants (aka us):
- DINKs
- 2 dogs
- Both work from home
- Been living for 1 year in this unit
- No own house
- Combined income of 120k - but with debts and luhos
We like the location, maayos yung unit, and maayos naman yung management, kaya no worries sa condo itself. Pwede rin naman iparenovate pag nagka budget na.
Pero okay ba yung deal na inoffer samin or is there a better option out there (e.g., bahay nalang, tuloy nalang pag rent, etc.)?
