My driving licence is due to expire 31st May, however, I’m expecting to be moving house around the same time or maybe a couple of weeks after. Should I renew my licence with the new address or will I need to renew it at the current address and then potentially request a change within weeks of that? I’m watching the pennies atm so would rather not pay twice… another alternative is to let the licence expire and renew it once I’ve moved, but I will be driving so this is obviously risking a hefty fine.
