My manager says they put in daily request to temporarily lower the heat.. and that the DM has requested to put in daily tickets and notify them.. but according to them corporate rejects all tickets saying that the store is a steamy 74 degrees within company standards… however those set standards are just were the temperate zones read out and the actual feel of the stores in all other areas are sooo much hotter because their is no airflow mechanism to push the air around… it’s so hot that ppl are swamping in their cloths soaking wet… customers complain of the shopping experience… ppl feel headaches and nauseous.. but never mind the dripping sweat from everyone working and shopping…. How is this acceptable

So as far as I was informed the store manager is supposed to close once a week. However it doesn’t seem like something they are really held to.. .. either they schedule themselves to close along with a closing supervisor and work a day shift instead or just blatantly never schedule close shifts and or weekend maybe once a month one day of the weekend. Ever since they no longer have to punch in and out they just make a fake schedule for corporate to see…. But in real life my manger hasn’t closed in over a year and almost never does weekends… must be nice
