I had two interviews and my orientation for BOH, I was told I’ll be cross trained in cashiering as well. What does it take to be fired? Idk I’m just so anxious that if I’m too slow mentally and physically they’ll fire me, I promise I can follow directions and am very friendly, I just need time to catch up you know? So, I guess my overall question is what does it take for them to let me go (I’m seasonal too if that matters)?
Got hired some months back and just made RS over BOH. The pay is better but i wish BBot accounted for sizing and recovery. It only accounts for the truck and sending pple home often leads to them not wanting to show back up.
I just wush it was a better way to forecast hours as I STILL dont have pple for certain departments due to them quitting due to the instability of bbot and how the hours are setup.
Love my job and the raise I'm thankful for. Just hope the wrinkles up top can be ironed out so we can be put position to actually be successful.
Hello, I was hired and my orientation/training was yesterday to be a cashier. I put my availability on the app and was just wondering how long it takes to get notified if I have hours or not. Or better yet how the app works. Do I just wait until the manager adds the shifts I’m supposed to work? I’m a bit confused on how the app works aswell. Please help!

What do you say to customers exactly?
My store is getting heavy on the necessity for credit card sign ups. Customers I get either don't want one, live out of country, or already have one. Is this a skill issue or is this really luck based? And yes I do notify them that it's also a rewards card with 10% back on their first purchase. I'm starting to get annoyed about being notified of the low scores of the store.
So this is my first time I get those 7am shifts and I hate waking up too early! is there anything special going on these days?

So idk what to do ive been working as a cashier for 2 months now I love it don't get me wrong and I love my coworkers and the customers are sweet and patient and I mean I get paid ok ig 12.50 per hour but the store manager is strict and so mean every day they are constantly yelling at me for things that aren't even my fault or things my other coworkers did but I get the blame on it instead and they are just rude I love my job but idk how much more of the rudeness I can take cuz its becoming draining but yet I have 4 make a difference awards and I feel like im doing well so I really dont want to leave so what should I do

not for me! tonight was my areas main hit from the storm and dm said we couldnt close unless the power went out for 30+ min but apparently it going out and coming back on every 10 min was okay
We got a new store manager, and before we can go on break, this mf wants us to find 3–5 misplaced items. Like, how the hell am I supposed to magically find 3–5 things every time? Do they want people to just steal shit or throw stuff around so there’s something to find? It’s such a stupid rule. And if multiple people are going on break and walking the same direction, what happens when there’s literally nothing misplaced? Are we just supposed to keep looking until we find something?
My manager asks me to stay to cover a cashier before I leave and I keep going overtime and I can tell they're getting pissed while I also am expected to clean my register. Like, what the fuck do you want me to do. Then I probably go over 6 hours on my 5 hour shift.
Went through the computer training, got my lanyard and name tag. But I dread going in whenever my first day is. It's just a seasonal part time job as a second job. I felt like I was dismissed and wasn't told when to come in again for my first shift.

I haven’t been scheduled to work for a month and now i’ve been scheduled to work for 1 day next week. I’m done with job.
I’m deciding rather i should just call them saying i quit or just stop showing up and cut them off which I’m leaning towards but i’m wondering if I let myself get fired for not showing up will that have negative consequences on me in the future?
Edit: Also I don’t have my manager email or phone number so i’d have to call the store, ask if the manager is there, and quit over the phone.
This job is such a joke like….i was told that store has hired new people and I’ve been working there since before the store opened (helped set up the store) and i get an email like this they don’t schedule anyone but keep hiring all these new people and it’s getting really annoying, I’m praying i find another job soon

This is my first job and im not really sure what to do when I arrive. I have my first shift today as a cashier and im not really sure what to do or where to go or who to even approach... I only had one day of orientation, I dont have a lanyard but I do have my card, I dont even know if it works cause they had issues connecting my name with my id, and idk where to even show up in general when I get there? do I go to the break room to leave my bag there when I first get there? or what do I do? im so freakin nervous...
