Who thinks ONE cashier from 9-2, on Labor Day, which is the DAY before school starts, is a good idea???? In addition the next cashier came in at 2, when the first one left. The line came out the Q and snaked thru the department. Markdowns be damned, myself and the SFS rang for what seemed like hours. Which brings me to another question, I'm old school, been with the company since it had the word Factory in its name. Breaks were ALWAYS optional. Customers were the priority. When we were busy, you were lucky to run to the bathroom. So I see the cashier carrying a Door Dash delivery, heading to the break room, at 1:15, gets off at 2. When I say I left for the day also at 2, I mean I RAN out of there.

A fellow PT employee came and asked me if PT'ers get holiday pay. No I said PT does not get holiday pay. Well, so and so told me that me that for Memorial Day week, they worked 18 hours and got holiday pay for Memorial Day they replied . So now I'm wondering, as I've been scheduled 18 hours a week for the past 3 weeks. Labor Day week I'm scheduled 17.5. hours. Coincidence....hummmm. Who knows for sure???

Want to clarify what happens to empty packages from stolen items? I talking empty perfume boxes, earrings, empty phone charger boxes, toothpaste boxes, pretty much anything not nailed down. After you log them on the shortage map, where do they go then, trash or debited out?

First of all, I love the camera. Spent money on a few of those cheap light bulb cameras. Finally got smart and got a better set up.

My question is I have ferns and a flag on the porch. Can I get the camera to quit marking them as person/auto when the wind comes up ? Or is that something I can even do ?

My hours for the past few weeks:

23 hours. 18 hours, 17.5 hours then a whopping 5 hours for fourth week!!!

I was told by the sales floor supervisor we're having another inventory in September. WTH We just had one in June, and it was 6am to 4pm. A damn long day. Is this going to be a thing, or is this just us??

Our Sales Floor Manager runs our markdown team. She's very particular in how you process mark downs. This Markdown Captain is a transfer, I'm assuming from NY . Starts in a week or so. Can't wait to see the fur fly.
