Breaking in a natty kendama

Decided to get myself a craft after a long break from kendama. How long do you guys think it would take for the tama to break in? I've had a couple natty crafts back in the days, but never had the patience to fully develop the tama except for stalls. I've been jamming it for around 2 weeks now, held it over boiling water to open the pores, used to drop it gently on the concrete but the tama is still super slippery.

Birds and stilts are way easier now, but lunars and lighthouses are super slippery. Rubbed it with my hands a lot of times, used all the sweat I could get from playing but the result is there for just a couple tricks at a time. Do you think it will stay like that or I should just jam it non-stop for some more weeks?

Luna shape, maple ken, ash tama. My playstyle is super gentle, im not used to bashing my kendamas around or hitting them hard.

First 2 photos - brand new setup

Last 2 photos - setup after playing not so consistently for around 2 weeks.

Started cleaning my screen today and noticed this strange shape, looks like a smudge but doesn't come out no matter how i try to remove it. Used only water and a soft glasses cloth. Tried some burn in videos to check if I can notice it but it's absolutely invisible when I use my phone. Looks like the screen has been burned with a lighter, like the ones JerryRig does on his test phones but mine hasn't even been close to one or any extreme heat in that regard. Any ideas or solutions?
