7 day Slovenia itinerary. Hiking, Triglav, rafting & caves. Would you change anything?

Hey everyone!
If my itinerary is too rushed? What would you leave out?
My friend and I are visiting Slovenia for 7 days this summer. We’re looking for the biggest WOOW factor possible and want to spend as much time in the mountains as we can. Our main focus is hiking, climbing, rafting, and exploring caves rather than cities.

This is the itinerary we’ve put together:

Day 1 Ljubljana to Bled
Land in Ljubljana at 13:00.
Drive to Bled.
Hike to Ojstrica viewpoint for sunset.
Overnight in Bled.

Day 2 Bled to Bohinj
Hike from Bled toward Bohinj.
Hike through Mostnica Gorge.
Walk along Lake Bohinj and enjoy the scenery.
Overnight in Bohinj.

Day 3 Bohinj to Triglav.
Start our two-day ascent of Mount Triglav.
Stay overnight in a mountain hut.

Day 4 Triglav to Soča Valley
Summit Triglav early in the morning.
Descend and hike through the Vršič Pass.
Overnight in Bovec.

Day 5 Soča Valley to Near the Caves
Go rafting on the Soča River.
After rafting, we take a bus south toward the Škocjan/Postojna area.
Check into accommodation near the caves.

Day 6, Škocjan Caves & Postojna Cave
Visit Škocjan Caves.
Visit Postojna Cave.
If time allows, stop by Predjama Castle.
Overnight near Ljubljana.

Dag 7 Ljubljana
Explore the city before flying home.

A few questions!
Would you change anything in this itinerary?
Are we missing any must-see hikes or viewpoints along this route?

Thanksss!!

7 days in Slovenia so i need the biggest WOW hikes, mountains & must-do activities!

Hellooo!

A friend and I just booked a 7day trip to Slovenia. Our plan is to hike, climb mountains, and experience the absolute best the country has to offer obviously. But wee love places with a real “wow factor” the kind of scenery that makes you stop and stare, take photos and brag about it at work later.

A few questions for you guys if you could help us:

  1. Which area of Slovenia has the most breathtaking scenery?
  2. What activities are absolute must-dos?
  3. Which mountain(s) should we climb?
4 Is it realistic to fit the highlights into one week?
  4. The forecast is around 35°C. As Scandinavians, how do we survive hiking in that kind of heat?

Thankss!

Cycling computer for Strava routes, worth it?

I’m thinking about buying a cycling computer because I currently use my phone as a GPS, and it draaaaaains my battery really fast.

I create all my routes on Strava and want a cycling computer where I can simply load my Strava routes and follow them, just like I do on my phone. Right now, I can’t ride more than 30 km because my phone dies.

A second question, Is it worth having both a cycling computer and a Garmin watch, or is that total overkill? Also, based on my needs (Strava route navigation and long rides without killing my phone battery), which cycling computer would you recommend for me??

I love Strava tbh
