Offering:Mandarin |Seeking:English speakers
Hi im Lilith and I am currently a fourth‑year undergraduate student majoring in International Accounting, about to graduate and start my internship.
I can provide Mandarin tutoring and exchange. I hold a Level‑2 Grade‑A Certificate in the National Mandarin Proficiency Exam, so my pronunciation is standard and reliable, you can rest assured, and I can accurately correct your sounds, tones and intonation. Beyond that, I’ll teach you natural, authentic expressions, explain grammar and logic, and share vocabulary with cultural context, idioms and modern slang.
We can also discuss various topics to practice clear, thoughtful communication. I can even help with characters, reading or classical texts if you like.
I am looking for native English speakers for language exchange. I hope we can communicate regularly and please do not ghost. My English is not yet good enough for voice calls, but I am practicing diligently. I hope we can start with daily voice messages first.
It is only recently that I have truly fallen in love with language. To be honest, when I was younger, I did not pay enough attention to the study of Chinese language and literature, so now I am working hard to make up for it. As I have grown older and become more mature, I have formed my own views on the world and no longer follow things blindly. Poems and classical texts that I memorized thoroughly in my childhood now often come back to me like a boomerang and strike me deeply at certain moments in adulthood. In recent years, especially as graduation approaches, I have developed a strong interest in and appreciation for the humanities and social sciences, and I am deeply fascinated by the charm of language.
I love art, and I have also become very fond of music lately. I enjoy various styles, and my favorite singers are female artists from Taiwan. I often listen to works by 單依純, 王菲Faye Wong,陳綺貞 Cheer Chen, 張懸/焦安溥and others on repeat. My favorite album is 她的發光搖擺 by Cia Cia何欣穗.
I have many other interests too, such as traveling and hiking. I occasionally practice calligraphy or do some graphic design, though I am only an amateur enthusiast.
I sincerely hope we can keep in touch and learn from each other over time. I am open‑minded and enjoy learning about different cultures. I oppose all forms of discrimination, and I identify as a feminist who supports gender equality. I consider myself a rational optimist: as I have grown, I have come to see and understand the hidden darkness and complexity of the world, yet I still maintain infinite hope and optimism for the future.
If you are interested in me and would like to know more, you are very welcome to connect and practice languages together.Hope we can be friends!
