Hi! I’m 18 years old and fluent in both English and Mongolian. I also have some experience teaching these languages.

I’m currently looking for language exchange partners for Korean, Japanese, and French. I’m a complete beginner in Korean and Japanese and I only know the alphabets so far but I’m planning to move to one of those countries in the future, so I’d really like to have decent understanding of the languages. As for French, I simply love the language and would love to learn how to speak it.

I’m interested in many things like art, films, photography, philosophy, psychology, and STEM subjects, but I’m also happy to talk about everyday life and casual topics. We can also be study partners and help keep each other motivated and consistent.

I’d especially appreciate people who are genuinely motivated to learn and communicate consistently. I’m hoping to find long-term language partners rather than people who disappear after a few days 😭

In a few months I'll be taking a trip to New Zealand and I'm gonna be living there for a year, so I'd like to brush up my English and get a little more comfortable speaking to people, as I've never actually traveled and so I've never needed to use it to, you know, get by everyday life lol.

I'm 27. I like videogames and also music, movies, series, writing... the arts in general. I like science as well but I'm too dumb to have a super deep convo about that😂. I also enjoy talking about my country and listening to others talk about theirs.

As for what can I offer, I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to languages and phonetics, so I can especially help you with your pronunciation, and discuss the differences between several Spanish accents.

I have learned lots of English words, I hope there's a native speaker telling me what a word/phrase does, implies, connotes; when/where/how often it appears. If you have studied Chinese for years and want to navigate in the Chinese vocabulary, I'd be glad to share my knowledge with you, though I struggle with spoken English 😂. I can tell whether your diction is natural/idiomatic, and of course the formality and connotation of the words you choose.

PS: Even if you're not interested in Chinese, we still can talk. I can read news, essays, books in English if you'd like to listen to. Currently I sound a little robotic but generally clear. You can also choose the materials that interest you. I can read most of them without frequently consulting a dictionary. You can be my audience as well as my instructor helping me improve my intonation, pronunciation and answer the confusion I find in the readings!

In the end, I have to emphasize that I, in general, am not looking for a partner to practice spoken English. I'm seeking the native-level knowledge of the English language from native speakers. In exchange, I will make, or help make you a foreign speaker that speaks idiomatic Chinese!
