Love this guy, the way it shines captures the look from the show perfectly.
(This is my first watch so please no spoilers past 10x15) Someone recently made an “edit” about this episode on TikTok and the comment section seemed to love it- and I can absolutely see why. As Tess said it’s “very human” just seeing them all retrace their steps and go through a very human dilemma. Still having that very campy Smallville charm
Now it seems people have been taping down their D-Pad button doing the Ecruteak City Gym/Day care exploit, which is fine and dandy- HOWEVER, I have found that placing one end of a PS5 controller on the “forward” button is just as effective and requires nothing but what you may already have. Try it with other controllers why not.
Ah yes, decorated military officer Sam Lane- dumb enough to not question why his criminal daughter has surveillance pictures of Clark Kent and Supergirl. United States Army general Sam Lane, clearly knowing how he has brought up his daughters and is either a manipulative a hole - or emotionally stunted/unavailable. Yes- the Sam Lane who is corrupt enough to use tax payer dollars to do background checks on his daughters boyfriend (and was so comfortable doing it and then played it off like he just *can*). Ah yes, that Sam lane
(I’m on my first watch so please no spoilers past 10x3) dude fuuuuuuuck Jor-El, he’s such a pussy little girl about EVERYTHING. Instead of helping his son with the Kandorians he had a hissy fit about Clark not finishing his training and simply didn’t talk to him OR zod cause he’s a little bitch. Now Clark all of a sudden Clark isn’t “pure of heart” because he has human emotions? Because the man who tortured him and took the former love of his life away from him came back as a clone and he was TEMPTED to kill the clone (which he didn’t???). Jor-el didn’t stand by his own principals and rather than die to make sure the kandorian clones didn’t come to be he lived on and had a son who he sent away to a distant world, then decided he could still have a say in his upbringing? Jor El is worse than a fussy 13 year old girl
(This is my first watch so please no spoilers past season 9 finale.) I really enjoyed this episode and it set up some great things to follow up on. I was truly wondering where Clark would find more blue Kryptonite, as when we see him in Crisis on Infinite Earths he is powerless and with Lois. I thought the final fight was actually pretty satisfying compared to doomsday’s “fight”. I don’t know why I was under the impression there was 11 season, I’m kind of sad I’m now on the last one.
(IM ON MY FIRST WATCH PLEASE NO SPOILERS PAST 9x11) So not only did we have the Junior justice league in costumes, we even had Lois get a whole leather suit as stiletto for a single episode, now the JSA is around with 3 costumed heros and 1 of them can fly. I get not giving him the suit yet, but he’s like RIIIIIIGHT there?? Not being able to fly atp is dumb
I’m on my first watch and finishing up 8x22 as I type this (SO PLEASE NO SPOILERS)
No doomsday fight? This is what we’re doing? Most bulllllllshit season finale in the series so far- I feel jipped. I feel like they built up this fight the whole time, even the legion guy came back and hyped it up; I get maybe the budget wasn’t there but more than a 15 second fight would have been nice.
