AITA? He wouldn't enjoy going to concerts with me :( ?
I love concerts. IDC who is performing I love live music. I have seen many concerts over the years and its my goal to see every band I've liked since I was a child. Me and Bf have been together for 8-ish months and he has known how much I love concerts. I just bought tickets to go see TOP. I told him about it hoping that he would be excited but instead asked if I had anyone else to go with :( I have shared with him many times my love for all the music and bands I listen to, he likes them too & has never once after the many times I've brought up concerts ever said anything about not enjoying them.
He said he would go but wouldn't enjoy it and would rather me find someone else. I feel like the asshole if I make him come with because he wont enjoy it. It almost makes me feel guilty, but I think he's crazy for not liking concerts. He said he would rather listen to music at home and I'm blown. I don't have someone to take with me, I don't want to make him come if he wont enjoy it. I can't imagine not wanting to see live music, I'm mad that he never thought it would be important to tell me this. I told him all of this and he just said "to each their own" and " I enjoy piano but I don't play piano" which made me more mad because he has no reason for not enjoying concerts. He likes the music he likes the band but doesn't care for the concert or opportunity? AITA for being upset and calling him crazy?
