Dalat supermarket - "NO TIPPING" in the meat dept

Took my parents to Dalat supermarket and was surprised to see a "NO TIPPING" sign in English and Vietnamese at the meat dept.

I'm curious why would customers tip in first place? First time I've ever seen it. Unless it's common at other markets now 🤷🏻‍♀️
