Did you know? This is the only "photo" we have of the clothing Selena was wearing on the day she was tragically murdered.

The medical examiner said that her sweatshirt had so much blood on it that you couldn't even tell what color it was.

Did you know that Selena's casket was surrounded by more than 8000 white roses when she was laid to rest?

Her family requested that attending fans bring her favorite flower—a single white rose—to her burial on April 3rd, 1995. About 600 family members and close friends attended her private funeral service, while an estimated 60,000 to 75,000 mourning fans showed up to pay their respects.

Selena had such a captivating soul, and an ability to make her fans feel seen and loved. She is unforgettable. Irreplaceable.

We're all still dreaming of you Selena

Selena's Jumpsuit

Hi guys. I have a few questions regarding Selena's astrodome jumpsuit, and I was hoping you guys could help me out.
Once I started discovering Selena's music a couple years ago, I was absolutely fascinated by her performance outfits/pieces, and I was inspired to get into sewing because of her. With that being said, I decided to try and make my own jumpsuit, and sought to look for the astrodome fabric for months, with no luck. I ended up having to opt for the same type of fabric just in black. (I had to buy multiple vintage dresses made with the same fabric, take them apart and construct the jumpsuit that way.)
Considering how old this fabric is, I've accepted that the chances of me getting my hands on anything similar in the same color as her jumpsuit are slim to none. But I'm wondering if you guys have any information regarding the fabric. What is it called? Why is it so hard to get? Is there anything similar out there in the same color? I feel like I'm out of luck on this one.
