Fellas, what’s a Venom gotta do to get some Axl matchup wins?
Currently reporting from the plat 3 trenches as a Venom. For some unbeknownst reason the overwhelming majority of my opponents for a month now are either Unika or Axl and I get curb stomped by both. However, if with Unika I know that my losses are caused by my bad matchup knowledge or my hands growing out of my ass, I at least KNOW what I should’ve done in most interactions, I have no idea what to do against this British fucking Belzebub. I jump? He does that 6p that can probably function as a military grade AA system. I approach from the ground? He does that FUCKASS LOW SWEEP MOVE THAT COUNTERHITS INTO HARD KNOCKOWN. I wait full screen and setup balls or use stinger? He zones the fuck out of me with that attack that counters projectiles(for SOME REASON) or jumps in with an attack that counter hits from across the pacific. So what do I do? I know that yes, I’m a scrub in plat and that tierlists don’t apply to me, or whatever the fuck, but I feel like circling the last layer of hell whenever I see this demon as my opponent. Not ragequitting against this takes more resolve than quitting smoking ong. Please help
