I live in a rented property (my landlord doesn't usually mind me putting up shelves/painting etc) and my kitchen cupboards look awful. They really let the kitchen down, it's only the few cupboards in the pictures with these issues and obviously I'm not going to replace my landlords entire kitchen...

Is there anything I can do to improve/replace for less than about £80? I thought I'd be able to maybe just wrap them but the surface is so uneven and the cupboard just keeps flaking more all the time :(

Any help appreciated!!!
