Garden Drip Grid Troubleshooting
Just set up a drip irrigation system for my 10'x12' vegetable garden. I inherited the system from my grandfather who used it successfully every year for the last 20 or so. I made a few modifications to make it fit my garden, but I'm finding that one of my corners doesn't receive nearly enough flow.
The basic idea: its an approximately 10'x12' pvc grid with a few holes drilled into each line pointed towards the center of each roughly 2' square. I have 2 hose hookups stemming from the same spigot, in an attempt to even out the water flow, though one is a 50' hose and the other is 75' (just what's available for me at the moment). I've tried multiple different configurations with where the hoses connect to the grid itself (opposite corners, adjacent, etc) and for some reason, the same back corner doesn't receive enough flow, if any at all. The system is flat, though not perfectly level, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Can anyone offer any advice? TIA!
