My warranty repair experience

I am a Luba 2 AWD 5000 user in the UK. Like everybody else, I've had issues with software updates, a failed power supply, etc. The latest issue I had was that my Luba 2 just stopped charging. Assuming it was another failed power supply, I replaced it but it made no difference. At this point, I knew I'd have to try and contact Mammotion and see if I could get it repaired. Here is what happened:

I contacted support and they took my information.

Asked me for the invoice. I didn't have the invoice.

No problem. They found it by serial number.

Asked me to put it in it's box and ship it back to them. I didn't have the box.

No problem. We'll send you another one.

They sent me the box. I packaged it. They covered cost of shipping.

It was gone about a week and my app would pop up periodically while they were testing which was kind of fun. After that it was returned to me and they even replaced the hubcaps on the front wheels that had broken off. It's now working great.

They did all of this with literally 6 days left on my warranty.

I know there is a lot of negativity over firmware updates, etc. but my warranty experience was frankly one of the smoothest I've ever had and I could not be happier.

My playlist maker - Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated

I started converting my CDs and hosting my own music a very long time ago. I stopped doing that when the era of streaming services began offering millions of songs in an easy to consume convenient ecosystem. I lived with that for years until I realized that it worked great as a soundtrack to my daily life but was dissatisfying when I wanted to escape life into music with intentionality. I then spent a year rebuilding and curating my music collection to get it to the point where my inner archivist was satisfied. But then I ran into another problem.

I got used to the convenience of easy playlists. I knew how to create my own .m3u files but it’s tedious and I could never find a tool to build them without a bunch of other stuff getting in the way. So, I built one.

It’s called Emthree (emthree.app). It works with any browser but chrome-based browsers work best. You point it to your music folder, it scans it and builds a list of all your music. You can tick and add the songs you want to a cart and then create a customer playlist. You can also sort by artist, genre, year, etc. After that, there’s tools to reorganize the playlist if you want. I’ve also included a few guides that I will add to for things like making playlists for Plex and Jellyfin.

*DISCLAIMER* Yes there is a tier with a nominal subscription and there are a few features that are behind it and that’s mostly to pay for upkeep and development.  The vast majority is free and you don’t even need to create an account to use most of the features. The account is just to store your work.

As I said, I built this for myself and then thought others might find it useful. What would be useful to me is feedback. I would love some suggestions. Should I add features like metadata management, or change something in the interface? What would make it more useful? Thanks.

P.S. I tried writing to the moderators before submitting this but never got an answer. Since this is mostly free I hope they won't mind.
