Z906: Sound only through front pair when testing Windows 11 5.1 Surround setup

SOLVED!

Thank you to u/LifeInTechnicolor for saving my sanity!

Speakers: Logitech Z906 purchased new off Amazon a couple of weeks ago

Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming

All speakers are properly wired. I ran the wiring self-test by pressing the INPUT button on the control console for 5 seconds. All speakers worked as intended, emitting sound as each one was lit on the control console.

The 6-channel direct cable is properly connected at the subwoofer and the motherboard (see photos).

When testing the 5.1 signal either in the Windows 11 Speaker Setup wizard or the Realtek Audio Console, the test tones are heard only through the front left and front right speakers. No tones are heard when test tones are sent to the center channel, subwoofer, or rear channels.

The Z906 is replacing a Z506 set I had used without issue for a few years, until it quit working a couple of months ago (different issue... the sound would completely cut out for a second whenever the subwoofer tried to activate. I assume it's a popped capacitor or similar issue.)

I have tried everything I can think of to get audio from the speakers other than the fronts, and I'm out of ideas.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me to get these speakers working properly with my PC.
