Added USB-C to my G915

Added USB-C to my G915 TKL to Charge everything in my desk with one cable. Now I can charge my laptop, mouse, keyboard, phone and anything else without having a ton of different cables. Another side effect is that everything can now be white in my white setup...

Still don't know why Logitech doesn't ship their white products with white cables.

I wanted to have the option to charge the keyboard with micro USB if I need it so the installation was also quite simple. For anybody wanting to copy what I did: buy a USB C port that has the CC1 and CC2 header. Even better: find a USBC port that has 2 5.1k resistors soldered to these headers already. That way you can use Usb-C to USB-C cables and charging and get higher charging speeds than the standard mikro USB port. In my testing I can now get a full charge halve an hour faster than before.

You need to solder 4 wires to some pins on the main board and cut a hole for the Usb-C port or change the hole for the Mikro USB port and remove that if you want to have just USBC.

If you need any further information hit me up.

Help Escalating a return / refund

I received a Brio 500 in the mail which was completely smashed up. I've been trying to get it refunded or replaced for nearly a month. I contacted them immediately, they opened an investigation two days after I contacted them which they said would take 7-14 days. It's now been 24 days. The original person dealing with the support ticket has stopped responding. I have been calling and trying to escalate it and waiting for a call back and nothing is happening and no-one I speak to can help. It's absolutely ridiculous. I love logitech products but I won't be buying from them again. Support ticket: 17571922

Have been using MX3 for the last six years. Should I switch to MX4?

Have been using MX3 since my first day on my first job

I think there is a general consensus on why MX3 is better than MX3S

I change my mouse every 3 years, so now I am considering switching to MX4

Quick note is that I work at a job where I can't download logioption or any third-party software on my computer, so I can't program anything into the gesture button

If that is the case, is MX4 still worth the price?

Please advise

My 2y daughter did this.. any tips?

She likes to sit on my desk and pretend she’s working.. yesterday I left a red pen unnoticed 😅
Can it be saved or Should I just accept it?

EDIT
Wow, had so much fun with the comments! It just came to my mind to post here, then took a picture and created a simple and fast text to share this (un)fortunately moment with you guys and had so amazing comments. My daughter is my world and my princess. I don't have intention on erasing her art (even if I wanted haha) and she is always drawing and painting in her art set.

Thank you for the kind comments about having her unique art and how special that is. And also another BIG THANKS for Logitech and their amazing team who rewarded me with a new mouse. You guys are the best! Life can be good my friends

G903 vs MX Master 4 - Worth switching?

Hello guys! I’d like to get your opinion on the G903 vs MX Master 4.
Obviously, one is gaming-focused and the other is more geared towards productivity/work. I don’t really play games anymore, and use the G903 only for work.
Do you think it’s worth making the switch to the MX Master 4, or should I just stick with the G903?

Strange MX Master bug

A neighbor gave me this neat mouse for free he had that couldn't be fixed he dubbed as "Cursed". He left me a link to the problems he described here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/logitech/s/fftGaYGJrD

How these issues occur for me is a bit different, even when its receiver is unplugged and another mouse is added, its effects are still present on every computer its plugged into for about half a day or so. Sometimes the gliding is normal but I can't click 80% of things.

Meaning whatever mouse is plugged in after is also affected for that duration. I wouldn't know if there is anyway to fix this? updating it does nothing to help.

Getting the logitech mouse in india was the worst mistake.

Absolute dogsh*t of a costumer support.
I ordered mx master 4 on 25th july and received it on 27th through amazon, and i received a defective product. when i reached out to customer support on call/email they approved the replacement but then they said my location (which has an airport btw) isn't serviceable. The nearest in-person service centre from my location is 170km away and takes 12hours for a round trip.

After countless tries to get them to pick up from doorstep, then being defeated and finding time from my busy schedule I went to that service centre and submitted the mouse.

I requested them to at least deliver it to my location so I wont have to spend 12 hours and another ~₹1000 on travel

I'm not being able to make time due to work and now the service centre is asking to take the mouse or they'll send it back to the company.

I also asked them if I can schedule a courier pickup from the service centre, which they denied saying i have to sign it and bring the replacement job sheet with me. Total nonsense of a customer service.

Idk what else to do other than go to the service centre again leaving my work behind.

Mx Master 2s vs 3 vs 4 ERGONOMIC wise

I have a Mx Master 2s mouse that has been with me for years. I use it 99% for productivity task and almost never for gaming.

After all these years it's definitely showing a good amount of wear and tear, and I'm considering replacing it. I'm however a bit concerned by the ergonomics of following versions. They both look way more sharp-edged and less ergonomically designed, but this could very well be just an impression of mine.

How would you consider the 3 and 4 compared to the 2 in terms of ergonomics and comfort?
Which version would you recommend?

Logitech support is terrible. Do not buy from them.

I don’t usually post this stuff, but this one actually pissed me off. Consider this a warning.

I’m in Switzerland. Logitech is a so-called Swiss company. Still couldn’t cancel an order here because it had “already been shipped.”

I’ve bought Logitech for years. Ordered a G512X 98, then tried to cancel less than an hour later after realising the build quality was trash. Support is clearly some AI chatbot. Couldn’t even get my name right. They told me the cancellation was submitted, then took 24–48 hours to reply. They never said it couldn’t be cancelled. I had to find that out myself.

Now the order is already processing/shipped, so I have to do a return and wait weeks for my money. Then they offered me 25% off to “make it up.”

No. I’m not buying from them again, so a discount is useless.

Galaxus in Switzerland has better warranty and cancellation on Logitech products than Logitech itself. That’s how bad it is.

Really, don’t buy from Logitech directly. If something goes wrong, they will not help you. Loyal customer for years. Never again.

MX Creative Console shortcut - New Sticky note on Mac

My organisation system is an embarrassing amount of Sticky Notes on my 4th desktop -- so I made a shortcut on my MX Creative Console that:

  1. automatically takes me to the Sticky desktop

  2. Opens Stickies

  3. Creates a new Sticky

Then I can directly type whatever I was thinking instead of scrolling to the new page, creating a new note, etc. Then it's just later me's problem to sort through them all :')

Wanted to share in case anyone else finds it useful!

Horrible experience with Logitech MX Master 3s RMA

Bought MX Master 3s earlier this year, started to see issues with it, like double left clicks, hold to drag not working. So, contacted support and they told to submit mouse at nearest service center, and then asked to send job sheet via email.

Did everything on 5th Aug, and today is 18th Aug, and still not replies, nothing. Reached out to them multiple times via call + email, get the same message: "We have escalated this within our internal team, they will take a look at it".

What are my options now? How do I escalate this issue? Can anyone tell me how much time this takes?

Logitech mouse & keyboard delivered to wrong address

My Logitech mouse and keyboard was misdelivered to the wrong address by FedEx. They took a photo for proof but it is not my apartment. I’ve tried following up with FedEx and Logitech directly but have been chatting with AI to no avail. Any ideas on how to proceed ?

Vertical Version of MX Master 4?

I can't go back to using a normal mouse, switching to vertical has been a huge relief on my wrist. But I do miss the haptics and extra scroll wheel the MX Master had.

Idk, this hypothetical product seems like a no-brainer to me. :/

I believe the BRIO 4K fried my USB ports/hub

I've had this BRIO 4K webcam for quite a few years now (four-ish?) - and, as far as video and meetings and stuff, it's worked great during that time, which is perhaps why it took me so long to clue in...

Right from the start I had issues getting it to work on some USB ports and thought "it's 4K and just needs more bandwidth/power" and moved it around, and I always eventually found a way where it would then work (months), until it eventually didn't.

I had it plugged into my PC first, but eventually it stopped working, and I moved it to another port, and it worked again. Later on I discovered that first port was actually totally dead for anything, but since I was upgrading boards at the time anyway, I didn't pay much attention.

Then I had it plugged into my OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock for a while, but it again stopped working (plugging it in yielded zero response from the computer), and it wouldn't work on my Dell Thunderbolt Dock (WD22TB4), but then it did work when I attached it to my CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Element Hub (with it's own power supply) and daisy-chained that to the Dell dock, and that worked for over a year - until eventually the USB-A controller in the CalDigit burned out, and now only low-speed USB2 devices (keyboard, mouse) will work on it's USB ports, not any high-speed USB3 ones. So, then I moved the BRIO back to my old OWC dock and it was working again, until now, and the USB in that has just died too (taking the ethernet port with it). I tried putting it on an IO-gear powered USB-C hub, but that didn't work, and then it worked for an hour on my Anker USB hub and then stopped.

And you know what? I don't know why I've kept shuffling this thing around trying to make it work - when looking back, it's clearly an issue, and I feel like it must be drawing too much power or something, and over time fried the USB port on my PC, fried the USB3 controller in my Element Hub, and now fried the USB in my OWC dock. Can I prove that? No. But it's the only common link - and given that it doesn't want to work at all on half the things it's plugged into.... yeah. That's hundreds and hundreds of dollars of equipment, dead, I believe becase of the BRIO, and it sucks, cuz it's all well out of warranty, but I'm still stuck having to replace it. I'm trashing the BRIO, even though it seemingly works on the face of it.
