I have owned an G9, MX Master 2, MX Master 3 and MX Master 3S.
I wore through the G9.
The 2 went because of Micro USB (Did not break).
The 3 broke, because the rubberized pad let go after 2-3 years.
The 3S broke after 1,5 year because the right mouse button click became flakey (lot’s of people with this problem).
Has Logitech had a bad streak with the 3 series and is the 4 fine, or is Logitech going downstream?
I love the magnetic scrollwheel, but I don’t want to replace my mouse every 2 years…
I have this keyboard, and is there software for the keyboard. I can't find it
I just acquired a dinovo edge keyboard and have the keyboard working on win11.
Except the touchpad, the pad has no effect on the mouse cursor and the left/right buttons don't do anything. Pad doesn't light up when I press it.
However, the strange left click button in the column on the left does work. Also fn - on (right click button) does illuminate the touchpad so the physical button must work.
Any ideas much appreciated, I don't want to bin it.
I switched out the keycaps on my MX Mechanical Mini :).
Hugely dissapointed in logitech currently. Bought about a year ago logitech mx keys s combo and not even half a year did the keyboard last without problems
It started with missing keystrokes then it evolved to key spamming. Now its gone completely mad and just does random shit on its own… i think by the time i have finished writing this post it has gained consciousness and is plotting to take over the world.
I have tried everything i have found on the internet, but nothing works. I think its faulty hardware but cant be sure since the master mouse is laggy mess as well. Inputs come with a little delay just long enough to make it feel like running in dreams. It isnt linked to one specific pc either, have tried it on laptop and pc, with or without dongle and still using it feels like an uphill battle.
I truly hoped this combo would have been up to its advertisements and expectations, but i have seen better functionality and performance from 5€ ”gamer mouse with RGB”
I hope this is just a faulty batch because i want to like it so much. Anyways i hope the 2 year warranty is provided in my country for this combo.
What are your guys’s experience with the mx series? Would i be better off taking the money from the refund and buying something else or should i try with a new combo?
The good part first: I've been a Logitech user for well over a decade. I have never had issues with any device before the MX Master 4 I purchased from their site on November 29, 2025. I have gone through two keyboards, this is my fourth mouse from the MX series, and third "premium" headphone.
The bad part: The support is abysmal. If they cannot offer a replacement or if this is not covered in warranty, let me know so I save two weeks! I still don't know if this is covered in warranty and I haven't ordered a replacement so far but I will do so today.
The mouse started malfunctioning in March 2026 with it intermittently turning off and then back on itself without me doing anything - often within 30 seconds. I use the same mouse for work and gaming so it gets pretty embarrassing on both fronts. The 30 seconds changed to a minute which is when I reached out to their support. The mouse is now bricked and does not turn on at all.
Timeline
*7 May*: reach out first time via chat, was asked too many questions so asked them to email. Standard questions followed: since when? issue in detail (i already explained in chat but ok), OS, serial number, connection type, when and where purchase was made
*8 May*: responded explaining mouse is off between 10 seconds to a minute then on itself. tried two laptops, and provide other info
*12 May*: went to chat again to get a quicker resolution (second ticket, unfortunately). Was responded to general CONNECTION troubleshooting steps. Charge the battery (it was 100%), change receiver type (the mouse turning off automatically has nothing to do with receiver), update device software, reset device, and so on. I obliged same day
Timeline below continues for the active ticket - I referenced the original ticket in chat but they decided to start a new one. That's ok and we wrapped that up a week later as duplicate after me providing the same info on two threads.
*13 May*: asked for Proof of Purchase (not a screenshot) in pdf format, provided
*14 May*: asked for first name, last name, shipping address, phone number - EVERYTHING is on the Proof of Purchase. Why ask for it again separately? But I provided the info same day
*15 May*: here's where it gets crazy - "To proceed further, I request you to please share me the video demonstrating the issue.
A video(in MP4) showing the issue, the serial number directly on the device (the serial number is an Alphanumeric character ending with "8" that you will find on the product), with a handwritten ticket number 17277936, and current Date on a piece of paper."
I shared my frustration of jumping through hoops for a faulty product and a video was made that showed no issues. Coincidentally, right after the first video - the mouse turned off again so I decided to make another video with the mouse turning off and on itself in the video; and not turning on despite connecting a charging cable and cycling ON-OFF.
*17 May*: apparently, my video skills arent good enough and there were steps shared now.
"
| Hello Abdullah, Thank you so much for your response. However, we require a video of the issue in below format. Please follow the below instructions to record the video along with the serial number directly on the device (the serial number is an Alphanumeric character ending with "8" that you will find on the product), with a handwritten ticket number 17277936, and current Date on a piece of paper. 1.Start from an OFF state.2.Turn ON the mouse.3.Ensure that the Easy Switch and Battery LED indicators are showing.4.Ensure that the Battery LED light at the top is shown immediately after turning the mouse ON.5.Connect the mouse to the charging cable.6.Plug the cable into the desktop PC USB port (or another working power source).7.Show the connection clearly in the video and check if any LED light appears while charging. If the switch and LED aren't visible simultaneously, that's okay. As long as the video shows the switch being turned on and then the LED area in a continuous sequence, it will help us verify the issue. Also, please share me the details for the below as well. When did you purchase the mouse? When did you first attempt to use the mouse?Did you fully charge the mouse immediately after unboxing? How did you charge and for how long? (through the computer or plugged into the wall outlet)Typical room temperature and humidity where the mouse was attempted to be used? |
|---|
Now I dont log temperature and humidity, a mouse is not a huge purchase like a car for me to be logging when I first attempted to use the mouse. Fully charging or not is relevant if I complain the next day - this is months later. But I still respond.
Coincidently, when I decided to make the video last night the mouse was off and would not turn on despite several OFF-ON cycles and attaching the charger .
How do I escalate this case to receive attention to the actual issue at hand? We are going in circles asking for videos, answers to questions, or endless follow ups. If this is the only way we can communicate, please let me know and I will order another mouse - this is my eighth email, and two chats across tickets 17277936 and 17263780.
I answered all the questions again...
*18 May*: Checking internally regarding the issue, great.
*19 May*: Ensure charging port is clean and free of any debris, try a different USB port, try a different charging cable.
I do all of this but still no resolution in sight, informed them
*20 May*: "looking for the best possible solution as soon as we can"
Conclusion:
I've had enough of this back and forth and will order from another brand. I've loved Logitech for over a decade and it suits my work/play setup very well. But after the back and forth for over 10 days, I am done. Sharing this with others to attempt a return at first sight of an issue instead of trying to talk to their support for resolution.
guys I do have the mx master 3s and have a credit of 129$ with logitech would it be better to choose to upgrade to mx master 4s or get mx keys s I do have a macbook and I don’t feel the mx keys s would be better than my macbook‘s keyboard
I’m considering getting the MX Mechanical keyboard (probably the one with numpad). Saw some comments online about broken keycaps. Any idea if the keycaps are covered by Logitech’s warranty within the 2-year period?
I have a ticket open for more than 40 days now, today Logitech Support sent an e-mail approving the RMA claim but saying that the MX Master 3S was out of stock and gave me these options.
MX Ergo S Advanced Wireless Trackball
MX Vertical Advanced Ergonomic mouse
G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse
G903 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse with HERO 16K sensor
Now, I'm not asking much, I just want the same mouse, but offer cheaper replacement mouse is a shitty move in my opinion... Am I wrong on demanding the same mouse for replacement?
I work as a graphic designer and I think I'm developing a repetitive stress injury from stretching my left hand to hold down left shift while clicking all the time (I probably do this literally a thousand times a day) — I just got a MX Master 4 from work and I'm wanting to bind the gesture button to Left Shift, the forward button to Opt/Alt and the back button to CMD, to give my thumb and pinky a rest. I tried using Logi Options +, but if I try to assign the gesture button to shift with Smart Actions, for example, I can only get a single click, not a persistent "hold". I use Shift while clicking and dragging to do basically everything. Better Mouse didn't seem to help either. Do you know of a way to do it? I'm on Mac Tahoe fwiw.

@Logitech I placed an order on May 3rd that is still stuck in processing. Support promised to help but is ignoring me and holding my money hostage. " i didn't receive anything and i didn't get my money back shame on you
I recently noticed that my Logitech G915 wireless keyboard and G502X mouse were behaving erratically with dropouts and mouse skipping. On investigation I found that moving the dongles fixed the problem but it took a few goes to get a stable situation. This behaviour is relatively recent so I wonder if others have similar issues or if it is indicative of something else being awry in my PC.
For information it is a floor standing desktop in a metal case. 9800x3D/RTX5800/Windows 11. There is also an Xbox controller dongle and I have bluetooth enabled. Wifi isn't enabled but there is a strong wifi signal in the room so there are a lot of different signals bouncing around.
Originally both dongles were plugged directly into motherboard USB 3 ports on the back panel when I noticed that both keyboard and mouse were cutting out intermittently. I am pretty sure this is a recent phenomenon because they have been working fine in that position for more than a year.
I tried moving the dongles to USB ports on my monitor and they work better but this isn't ideal however because those ports lose power when the monitor goes to sleep. That prevents me from waking the PC with mouse or keyboard.
I tried plugging them into a 4 port USB 3 expansion hub on my desk but that was even more erratic even though other things plugged into that hub work fine.
I then plugged them into USB ports on the front panel of my PC and they appear to work reliably now.
It makes sense that hiding them behind the metal case of my PC could interfere with the signal but how come I got away with it for so long. The only recent changes I have made are a replacement monitor (OLED if that makes a difference) and a new Logitech Brio 4k webcam which are both plugged into my motherboard USB ports. The 4k webcam is particularly fussy about its USB connection so perhaps that is something to do with this strange new behaviour.
After 2 years of use i’m facing these kind of issues.
It’s ok?
I want to remind that it is a mouse of a cost about 100€.
