I made a customizable Coffee Tamper for anyone owning a 3D Printer. Choose your diameter, print and you are ready to push some coffee ;)

I have the Flair Classic and I was never a fan of the original dosing cup "tamper".. So I made my own with the ability to perfectly adjust the Diameter to fit all baskets!

Maybe someone finds this useful (the model is free):

I made this Parametric Latch Lock for Makerworld. Is it possible to have True/False parameters here like in scad? I've seen other designs that even support dropdown selection.

I've been working on Fusion360 exclusively and I'v trying to add more features to this Lock by allowing users to customize if they want a Handle or this Cutout etc.
I can't find a way to do that in Fusion 360. I've seen lots of models made in OpenSCAD that support Boolean and Dropdown features.

My first attempt on a non mechanical design!

I am used to designing mechanical parts or just things I use everyday.. This is really new to me and I can say I have zero skill in designing art, props, miniatures etc. I think the mechanical design angle is really obvious when looking at this but it turned nice with a minimal and cyber look.

I added a Smartphone Mount to my Tripod design. Using PETG + TPU (grips) on the X2D is a really cool combo! Video in comments.

Hey everyone, after my last post of my tripod design a lot of you asked about a smartphone mount and here is what I came up with.

It has both 1/4" mount and Quick Release mount and by pressing a button you can lock it in Landscape or Horizontal position.

I printed this on my new X2D and came out great! I used PETG for all the parts and TPU90A for the grips of the holder. I haven't printed any TPU until now and it's a really cool material. It grips the phone really well, plus you avoid scratches.

Well.. I'm impressed! X2D is a Beast! Is it just me?

Upgrading from my DIY Klipper Printer to the A1 Mini felt like a relief, I could just print without looking at the printer every 30 secs.

Now from A1 Mini to the X2D... omg that was impressive!

I don't know maybe I'm too excited because I've spent 10 years tinkering with DIY printers, so this feels great xD

I wanted to try PLA + PETG Supports, Color Mixing, Long Multicolor Prints.

Some quick thoughts:

• No Issues out of the box. I just did the initial calibration and that's all.

• Reliable everything printed without any major issues.
- In the 100+ hours, I had filament stuck and couldn't get through the AMS, but that's an AMS problem.
- I had some surface quality issues on the red color on the Formula 1 model. Maybe because I didn't dry it, I'll check into that.
- There was a power outage in the first 2-3 hours of printing the Formula1 model, when the power came back printed continued normally.

• PLA + PETG Support is a game changer.

Ferrari and Goku Models are filled with supports. I got them out super easy and the surface quality is like there were no supports at all. I dont know if you can get this quality without multi-material support.

• Dual Nozzle Quality from both nozzles looks identical to me.

Totoro: Main Nozzle (Gray & White), Auxiliary Nozzle (Black & Red)
Ferrari: Main Nozzle (Black, Red, PETG Supports), Auxiliary Nozzle (White, Blue, Yellow)
Goku: Main Nozzle (Orange Blue, Black, White), Auxiliary Nozzle (PETG Supports)

• Print Times are still long for multicolor, but way better that single nozzle. 50% of the time is spend on Purging :/

• Filament Swapping is a downside. Even with 2 AMS systems, to get the optimal setup you have to re-arrange the filament between them. This makes the Filament Track Switch a must. I don't have it yet, but I think its a big upgrade on convenience and Print Times.

Next things I'm going to test are TPU and ABS prints.

For anyone interested in the models:

Ferrari F1: 78h print (for 2 models), 2400 filament changes, 5 Color PLA + PETG Supports.
Sad Goku: 21h print, 700 filament changes, Color Mixing (Skin), 4 Color PLA + PETG supports.
Totoro Pencil Holder: 17h print, 4 Color PLA, Color Mixing (Light Gray)
