My first design. Failed miserably or not?

I designed on my own without using any tutorial a case for my iPad. I printed it(petg. Don’t have tpu rn). I followed a reference image, made sure I give a little offset for fit, but even after measuring and design, the camera hole was a bit off. I am trying to utilise my sem holidays fully for learning cad design. Won’t try printing a case for iPad hereafter cuz of filament qty I wasted 😅. But I will try, design and print various things for learning.

Any advice on what to do

I completed the fusion in 30 days on yt.

I would appreciate any advice on going on what to do going on to learn practical design .

(Will hear a knife and extend the hole and try to fit it.

Help please

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I used the revolve command from the lower profile to the upper profile! I am having issues creating this bumper cap in fusion 360. I have tried starting from 2 different sketch profiles and lofting between the 2 profiles as the piece has an easy rounded profile on 1 face. When I create the loft it’s coming out pointy instead of rounded. Should I create rails between the profiles if so how is that done(with offset plane?) Am I approaching this the wrong way? Not a newbie but far from proficient, I have tried multiple different ways to start and trying to create the profile and I keep ending up with a pointy somewhat similar profile..any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cable/Piping Generator Add On

So I am going to keep this brief, but basically I kinda got annoyed by making cables all the time in my models using 2D or 3D sketches (they are much more complex compared to this very basic dummy model I have here), so I decided to take it upon myself to make an addon that lets me simplify the process whilst allowing me to visualise the changes I make as I do them. I kinda had to cram everything into this sped up video but it can do a few more things...

Currently this is a WIP, not done fully yet as there are some things that I want to address, but if there is enough people that want it I might go down the route of releasing this as an add-on.

If you would like to see something added to it, please let me know, I'd love to get peoples feedback.

How to create arched text (not just text on a curve)

I'm trying to create this style of arched text. Is inkscape my only solution or is there a way to do it right in fusion. I see tons of tutorials for text on a curve but that's not exactly what I need.

How can I model the feature in the first image on my model

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I am a begginer in fusion 360 and have been working on my skills in my free time. The model I have shared with you is of a ceiling fan casing in aluminium. I want to model the fastining features on the curved surface as in circled in the blue. But when I model it the results are as represented in the third and fourth picture. Where as in my refrence part the support also gets curved as it move towards the curved surface. Kindly guide me how can I achieve that.
Thank and regards to everyone in advance.

why do people love fusion so much

since moving to a mac i have been using fusion instead of inventor and almost everything seems to be more tedious and annoying. everything that is just there in inventor is hidden below dropdowns and i cant think of a logic reason to do that other to try and make it seem more user friendly. is there any benefits it offers over inventor

Help creating pendant or if someone else can

How would you bridge these 2 (right and left) screw holes / bosses together linking it to the main body without going through the other side of my design.

To make my 3D print more rigid I want to connect these screw holes on my clam shell togethor and to the main body but extrude goes through and ruins the other side of my design, and I can't get the ridge to respect the sphere, any ideas? look at second image for better explanation

Help with modelling

Hello everyone! I am new to fusion and just completed Prouct Design Online's 15 days of tutorial and got my first task. I have to create a mold for silicon of this wheel out of three parts: 1 is the bottom base with extrusions for the holes in the wheel, the second part will be the walls in the middle with shapes for the bumps and the top will be just a lid with a whole for the silicone. Also there have to be places for bolts on the sides to assemble and disassemble but I can manage that myself I think.

Could anyone give me some advice on where to start? I already projected the bottom plane but the issue i see is that I am not sure about how to go about the slope, and for the holes in the wheel i reckon i can just extrude them.

Thank you for the help in advance!

Think this will pump soft clay?

I designed this continuous clay feeder to hopefully replace my pressure chamber/compressor setup. I'd love to be able to actively mix my clay in a bucket or reservoir, and have a pump like this bolted to the bottom. I'm now waiting for the hardware to arrive and I'll test it out

My son and I are creating a portfolio of creepy deep sea fish for our Halloween yard display. Here’s our first 3D model: a Glow In the Dark Angler Fish.

My kids (grade school age) wanted to create a unique project for our Halloween yard display, so we decided on a creepy, scary deep sea fish theme for this year. I (dad) drafted this Angler Fish model in Fusion 360 based of a creepy picture my son found online. Our plan is to add to the creepy fish portfolio. We’re sharing the 1st one here, a creepy glow in the dark single color angler fish. I plan to upload a multicolor version with black body, red/glowing eyes, and glowing teeth soon also…I plan to test print that profile next!

We’ve shared the first print profile, which printed great in luminous rainbow PLA (which we ironically didn’t know glowed in the dark until after we printed it lol…we were pleasantly surprised!!!).

Please test it out and let us know what you think! Also, if you have suggestions for other creepy deep sea fish/creatures, let us know in the comments what we should add to the collection!

Printed on our Bambu A1 Combo that they received for Christmas!

New to Fusion! I want to design this parametrically

Hello! I realize this may not be a simple answer, but maybe I can get some direction on how to go about this. To give you a quick background:

We started a greeting card business in August of 2025. Last January, we went to a trade show and our friends helped me 3d print a logo sign. After that, I was HOOKED!

One month later, we bought an Bambu Labs H2S, I taught myself some Fusion basics in March, and now I'm designing displays for our local businesses created from plywood and 3d printed shelves and embellishments.

Here's what I'm trying to achieve:

-Shelves must be parametric, based on the size of the display box. There should also be screw holes if the shelf is longer than 13 inches (max size of the print plate). Alternatively, it could be a new shelf design that divides into multiple lengths of shelves based on how long the side is. For example, if it's a 30 inch length, then there would be three 10-inch shelves.

-The frame that goes around the edges of the box needs to be broken up in 8 inch pieces. This is so that each shelf is spaced out evenly (vertical), with the caps that hide the frame pieces length will be centered between them.

I still have A TON to learn and I can see how powerful learning Fusion really well can be. I watch you guys give advice on here and I'm blown away at how quick and skillful you all are. I hope that one day, I might be able to give advice as well!
