Spiraling
Help! I had my last HP with chemo on 2/12 and my last chemo on 2/19. Told wouldn’t get HP again until after surgery. DMX with reconstruction on 3/19 (achieved PCR) and was scheduled to see the oncologist on 4/23. He said I needed to do another Echo and then would restart HP. Took 2 weeks to get in for echo on 5/8 (after pushing and getting manager approval). Called and my infusion office couldn’t get me in until 5/21. Called the office to question how long of a break I’ve had in between infusions. Spoke with the nurse and the practice manager and neither can tell me if this is normal. They loved my appointment up to 5/18. The practice manager was supposed to talk to the doctor and then call me. No call after 2 days. It feels like someone screwed up and everyone is afraid to tell me. I’m so upset. Now I have to spend the weekend crying and worrying if someone dropped the ball or if this is fine. Should I call the after hours line to talk to a doctor? Anyone?
