Attendance Question
I have been at Home Depot for a good 1 Month already & I love the paint department don’t get me wrong! I’ve only had 1 occurrence since I started because of little car issue with the heat, other than that I really do enjoy when I work here but question I have is if today I was scheduled 6am-3pm but I really couldn’t make it in, had to go to the emergency room. I had put I was originally going to be late in the app but now it doesn’t let me change it to absent, I did call to let them know I have to go there instead of making it in late. Will this count as 1 occurrence or still an .5 half?? Do I need to bring in an excuse form? I don’t know how they go about medical emergency call outs, if bringing in a an excuse will help me out either. I forgot how many occurrences you need to get a coaching.
