Bought a 25’ Z71 almost exactly one year ago, and I’ve always wanted more turbo sound without slapping on an exhaust kit. I know it’s very hard to make a 4 banger sound good, so want to skip exhaust entirely.

Is there anyway without voiding warranty to do what I want? Originally I was looking at an after market intake, such as the S&B dry filter, but too many people told me that I would then be investing much more dirt into the engine. I did call the dealership and confirmed this wouldn’t void the warranty directly, only if your engine blew up and they determined it was directly caused by the aftermarket intake.

One other thing I was told but can’t find much info on, is simply taking off the “baffles” on the stock intake that are directly there to muffle the turbo sound. Has anyone done this? Is it easy to do? Does it have any downsides and how much louder does it make the turbo spool?

EDIT: Adding a picture of what I am talking about removing

One year inspection due as per dealership. How necessary is this?

My dealership left a message on my phone that my trucks one year inspection / service checkup with tire roation is due. My question is, how smart is it to go ahead with this, will they actually inspect and catch anything that would make it worth it? Trucks running completely fine, and I can obviously do the tire rotation myself. The app self diagnostic is all clean aswell.

Would any of you do this anyway just since its the first year of ownership? or is it pretty useless if the truck is seemingly running fine.

I live in an area where the water hardness is about 10 grains per gallon. I already barely ever dry my clothes in a dryer, and mainly airdry to try and extend their life. I recently learned about all the affects hardwater can also have on your clothes, so have been researching ways to counteract this.

When asking AI, it lists a multitude of things to do such as use a hardwater detergent, washing soda, and vinegar.

For my level of hardness, are all of these necessary? Is there better ways to deal with this than the listed above? If they are necessary, I absolutely will do them I just don't want to over do anything.

My old KENMORE wash tower recently died so I have a new LG one arriving in a week and really want to start doing what I can do make my clothes as good looking, soft, and last for as long as they can.

If the washing soda, vinegar, etc is required then is there anything I have to worry about in terms of these affecting the lifespan of the new washtower? Would I add these everytime I do wash?

Thanks for any replies in advance

Dropped my yeti bottle right onto the door sil (or whatever you wanna call it) while going to work today. Can this still be fixed by your average dent clinic, or is it impossible to get them out in this area?

Try so hard to keep this truck nice and of course stupid shit happens like this. Very annoying cus it’s so visible every time I open the door. Luckily I have 3M there so the paint was fully protected / not scuffed
