Is Findom inherently full of double standards

….or are we all just letting things slide?

For example, I often see posts in sub focused groups which discuss issues around dommes being rude, and then posts in domme focused groups saying that the perceived rudeness of a domme is in fact part of the character or attributes of a domme and that subs are missing just missing this point.

I disagree. I think there are cases where a sub and domme relationship is specifically built around that attitude, almost to an abusive point, but fundamentally and on the whole, both sides should show a degree of respect to each other.

I do not believe that submission naturally goes hand in hand with inequality or hypocrisy of behaviour (at its core), but I’ve seen posts from dommes and subs which lean the other way.

There are other doubles standards I see, like complaints about the availability of either side or the effort they put in.

Often this is probably just a result of failed communication and failed managed expectations, but, to my original question, do you think Findom necessitates double standards? Is it inherently an unfair relationship without equality?
