DTE can get fucked

I just sent this email to Wilson and Irwin
Hello Representative/Senator XXX,
I went outside to take out the recycling as this current storm ran through. As I was outside, the wind picked up, and I saw trees bend into the power pole in my neighbor's yard. That contact set off my neighbor's transformer and then a series of three or four more. DTE came through this late winter and trimmed our entire neighborhood. They are truly incompetant. We lose power here four to five times per year. I throw away hundreds of dollars of food each year, and I have also had to stay in hotels. I guess the only way for me to avoid this situation is to invest in a $10,000 whole house generator. Why does DTE have a monopoly on power in my area? Why is DTE more concerned about profit than providing their customers with reliable power? Why is there not an equitable reimbursement plan to help out customers who were wronged? Why is there not a voucher program for whole house generators? Why does DTE make the customers pay for upkeep, maintenance, and investment in solar and wind? Why on earth are these data centers allowed here when they will bury us in this current situation (not to mention the fact that burning more fossil fuels will make these storms a normal reality)? It seems we are at a precipice in which we need to make aggressive decisions going forward. I look forward to your response and what you plan for the "little guy".
Sincerely,
XXX
