My transformer knowledge is rather lacking. Helping someone replace a step down transformer on a farm. They have 480 3 phase and need 120 single phase, to run a pond bubbler.
I came up with the above. Have I done this correctly? This should provide at least 20A of single phase 120. Correct?
Title pretty well says it all. I need to replace the plunger assembly on a Merril C-1000 yard hydrant, and the head casting won't come loose from the pipe. I've got one pipe wrench up against the tractor and another with a 3ft breaker bar and it's not budging, just wants to tear the whole thing out of the ground. I notice the pipe going down in the ground seems to be able to rotate relatively easy. Do I just need to dig this out?
Been doing some work in a 50y old structure with hard dried lumber and having trouble getting it to sink the available 1" staples. If I have to hammer them in it defeats the purpose of using the stapler.
Anyone know of any aftermarket 3/4 leg length staples?
