Hello good people.

I’m eyeing an S560 and it’s beautiful. Ruby Red in the sun, black in the shade…just wow!! It’s to die for. Never owned a Mercedes Benz a day in my life. I’ve worked long and hard and I would like to experience this luxury.

Service records are complete and the car appears to be flawless. My question is, do I need to buy a warranty for this car or do I just save the cash for repairs? I got quoted $17k for 5 years. Like what!?!?!?!? Then $5k for 18 months, 12k miles but that won’t cover electronics.

Do buy the warranty or do I focus on getting liquid and finding a trusted repair shop? I’ve found 3 that work on German vehicles in my area.
