After several months of effort, I finally appreciate this beauty. I have fallen deeply in love with indoor lighting at night. This is a huge upgrade to my university car! A quick question for experts here is: What essential accessories or hidden features should I know? Furthermore, if someone is in the San Francisco area, what is the best weekend scenic driving route? Welcome to recommend!
This one has 29k mileage and is $37.7k - why is the price so low? Makes me want to end my 2024 Rav4 Prime lease early and pick this up.
I ordered in June with MSRP “Soon to be announced” it’s now almost September and still no US pricing announcement. Now people are basically getting told you won’t know the cost of your car until they print out the window sticker at the port and at some point we will tell you before it reaches the dealership…. Isn’t that kind of insane?
I mean I have a pretty decent guess at how much the vehicle is going to cost and I’m prepared to buy it regardless of where the pricing ends up. But seems wild.
Hi. I am in desperate need of help. My wife has a Mercedes c220 automatic which has developed a problem. When you select drive the display on the dash doesn't change to what has been selected and then once you do drive and stop you are unable to change to anything but neutral unless you turn the car off anf remove the key. The car also once it is driving will not change gear ratios and revs very high if you accelerate.
I spoke to a mercedes specialist garage who cant look at the car for potentially 2/3 months. They suggested the gear selector needed changing. This has been done but the problem is still happening!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
Simon
After some searching, calling around, and finding mostly rusted out older G’s, I landed on this one. Dog approved.
Back story: the car has been healthy, runs fine, sitting at 58k miles. Yesterday I woke up to a P07B7 light (pressure sensor implausible fault).
Car:
Online reports say it’s just one sensor on the valve body and the specialists can fix the sensor for some $500 bucks.
Took it to two indie shops and they both say they can’t do it because it requires a Mercedes coding and I’ll have to go to the dealership anyway.
Dealership valve body replacement is $4000 for parts and $2000 for labour.
Another forum member mentioned used 9g replacement is just $1500 and $3000 labor - but coding might be an issue again?
Oh and also, I replaced the transmission fluid in Feb this year and one of the indie’s mentioned the fluid is black.
Any help is appreciated

We have two separate 2020 Mercedes GLEs in our family that have developed almost the exact same unusual problem.
It initially started with the windshield wipers sometimes activating when the turn signal was used, along with a “Wiper Malfunction” warning.
On one of the cars, the problem has now progressed to the wipers coming on by themselves. I drove it today and the first hour was completely normal, but during the last 30 minutes the wipers ran almost continuously without being intentionally turned on.
I’ve found a few other GLE owners online describing very similar symptoms, so I’m trying to understand how widespread this may be.
If you’ve experienced this on a GLE — or another Mercedes model — I’d really appreciate hearing:
Model and year
What the wipers did
Whether it started when using the turn signal
Whether you received a “Wiper Malfunction” warning
What Mercedes diagnosed
What part was replaced
Whether the repair fixed it
Approximate repair cost
Any fault codes or part numbers you have
Even if you eventually sold or traded the vehicle because of the problem, I’d still like to hear about your experience.
Thx
Hey everyone,
I’m a full-stack developer who also loves getting hands-on with my car (doing my own diagnostics, insulation projects, etc.). Keeping a meticulous log of expenses, parts, and fuel economy using spreadsheets was getting out of hand. I wanted a truly centralized digital garage, so I built Otonot using Flutter.
I wanted to solve two major pain points in the automotive ownership lifecycle:
It handles multiple currencies, flexible unit support (Liters/Gallons, KM/Miles), and detailed visual analytics for budgeting.
The app is live on both the App Store and Google Play. I’d really appreciate any feedback on the UI/UX or the feature set from this community. What do you think about the Mechanic Mode adoption in real-world scenarios?

Thanks for your time!
All they said is because of “scratching and scuffing” around the door, they won’t cover it. I’ve never ever seen this type of peeling on a door panel with other manufacturers. I don’t even think the wear on my door is anything out of the ordinary. 24 GLS450.
