do you ask for your boyfriend‘s permission to go on a trip?
I‘m the single one in my friend groups and i‘ve experienced this multiple times. So these girls and I want to go to Barcelona and it‘s gonna be like 4-5 days only since we live in Europe and Barcelona is just close by. This girl said she has to ask her boyfriend first if she‘s allowed to go. She has told me before that her boyfriend doesn‘t allow her to go on long trips with her friends but doesn‘t tell her the reason why, he just doesn‘t like it. I respect her relationship and everything but girl.
Anyways onto the next girl, it‘s a different friend group. This girl proposed to go to Thailand this year, i was like lets go and we wanted to set the date and everything since we all work fulltime so we have to plan everything in advance. Now tell me why did this girl suddenly ask us if her dusty ass boyfriend can come with us? She said he wanted to come and if he‘s not allowed to come then we should just cancel the trip???? You know what lemme just sit my ass home if that‘s the case.
These situations will always give my whiplash bc i understand respecting your other half in a relationship but asking for permission for vacation that you‘re gonna pay with your own money?? fyi i never comment on their relationships bc it‘s not my place and i respect their relationships but it‘s just interesting watching as a spectator.
