Masyado ba akong nagmadali?
Hi, I’m 28M and currently unemployed for 4 months now. Almost 4 years sana ako sa tech corporate job, pero nag-resign ako last year. One of the main reasons was burnout — parang paulit-ulit na lang yung ginagawa ko, walang growth, and honestly mababa rin yung salary.
Originally, nag-transition na kami to hybrid setup, which I didn’t really like since nasanay ako sa WFH. Then biglang nagkaroon ulit ng chance na bumalik sa WFH setup after I resigned, kaya minsan napapaisip ako kung nagmadali ba ako sa decision ko.
At the same time, may brother ako sa Australia working in healthcare and aged care, and currently inaayos ko na rin documents ko for a visa since may sponsor naman ako. The thing is, sobrang layo ng magiging work ko doon compared sa background ko sa tech. Possible na maging healthcare assistant yung path ko, and honestly natatakot ako magsimula ulit sa ibang field.
Part of me thinks baka dapat nag-stay muna ako sa corporate habang nasa late 20s pa ako. Pero another part of me feels like this could also be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Kayo ba? If you had a chance to work abroad with a sponsor, would you take it kahit completely different yung magiging trabaho mo compared sa previous career mo?
BTW, plan ni brother na once ma approved by September sumunod na ako pero hirap pa ako mag moveon from my previous Job. P
