Tips for less known spots for family
Hi!
We are a family with 4 small children. We really love Bosnia. We went for the first time in the summer 2022 and since that year we have spent our summers in Bosnia every year, for three to four weeks in the summer. This will be our fifth summer in Bosnia.
I am sure that there is still plenty to see. But since we have spent a lot of time in Bosnia, we've already seen all the main attractions.
We have 4 children between 6 months and 7 years old, so hiking, canyoning etc. has to wait a couple more years.
We hope to get some tips from more experienced Bosnia travellers or locals, so we can have some new day trips this summer.
We always stay in Konjic because we love it and it is pretty central. This year we will do that again for two weeks. But we have plenty of time to spent a few days somewhere else.
What we have seen already:
Konjic (the city, the lake, rafting, lukomir), Mostar, Sarajevo, Blagaj, Kravica waterfalls, Livno, Jajce, Una national park, Bihac.
We wanted to check out Banja Luka summer, but I read mixed reviews :) so I'm not sure about that.
We would also appreciate some more 'local', not- touristy tips for places to relax, spend our day. Even if it is in cities we have already been.
Thanks in advance. We appreciate your time and effort :)!
