While my car was in for service they pointed out my cracked tail light and I said I’d install it myself after the service if they sold me the part.

$809+tax for one tail light, I busted out laughing. “What the heck is this thing made of, gold?” I told the guy I’d just get the one off Amazon for under a quarter of the price

$158 with free shipping, slight difference in body gaps but un noticeable unless I told you to look at it.

How can dealerships sell parts at that much of an inflated price, this blew my mind. Especially since they already make a killing on shop rates and sales.

Why even stock the parts for (other than warranty work) if you’re priced out by literally every other seller

I went on a date with a girl a little under a week ago, she seems amazing but I’m horrible at texting. I want to respond immediately and keep the conversation going but I can’t find the words. By time I get back to her it’s an hour later.

On the date I was visibly nervous, and the waitress outed me, I showed up an hour early for our date and sat in the restaurant for 30minutes to calm my nerves.

The waitress showed up on the 3rd time and I said I’m 30 minutes early I appreciate the amazing service but I’ll be waiting for a bit.

At the end of the date the waitress walked up and said now I see why you showed up so early, and gave her a few compliments.

She hasn’t texted back in just under a week and I want to put more effort in because she seems amazing but I also don’t want to be rude or overwhelming.

I’ve been single for 7 years and it’s been awhile since I felt like trying this hard but I also wanna respect her decision.

She seemed super sweet and brought up a second date but we haven’t talked much since the first, didn’t want to double text her and seem needy either but I want to see her again or at least try.

I’m assuming she isn’t interested and I’m ok with that, but I’d be even more upset if I found out she was and it was from a lack of effort on my part.
