These are from three different plants! We had a pretty intense heat wave (though I shaded them for most of it)— this just appeared right after.

That’s Zepherine drouhin n the closest arch, sr. Swithuns on the other side dr. Huey and Eden in the background. And the magenta flowering shrubs are Sophys rose.

I’ve been trying to figure out what this rose is for like a decade. My mother planted her about 20 years ago. She claims that she got it out of a magazine, and the name was “Alice”. I’ve tried to look up any roses that looks similar that have that name, I’ve used ChatGPT to try and figure it out, etc. No luck.

Anyone have any clues? She’s a pretty vigorous climber. Blooms now in zone 7B. No much scent. And a medium amount of reblooming.
